琴音清亮流轉伴著深情的靈魂唱腔，讓節奏藍調類型音樂全面的融入都會意境，若能帶點異國的動感節拍，還有一點誘惑挑情的韻味就更迷人了!來自墨西哥，現定居於聖地牙哥的Frankie J就是一位讓人動心又能搔到聽覺性感帶的Urban R&B新進歌手！

Frankie J描述一段難以挽回的分手戀情的首支單曲"Don`t Wanna Try"突破Billboard層層排行關卡，率先攻破Billboard流行單曲銷售榜TOP 10，再克TOP 40電台排行榜TOP 14，最後挺進流行單曲榜TOP 19。。
音樂歷程
Frankie J兩歲時就搬往聖地牙哥居住，祖父與父親都是音樂人的成長環境，讓他從小就喜歡唱歌提供家庭娛樂，西班牙文是他的母語，最早接觸的音樂都是cumbias、rancheras(墨西哥傳統民俗音樂)、bandas(側重銅管樂器的墨西哥舞曲)這些拉丁音樂節奏，不過，Run DMC、Kurtis Blow、The Fat Boys、Michael Jackson、Brian McKnight、Stevie Wonder 、K-Ci & Jo Jo也都是Frankie J的音樂養分泉源。
高校時，開始在校園會場與才藝大賽展露歌藝，15歲時，被加拿大獨立舞曲廠牌挖掘，並定位為拉丁freestyle歌手，幾首單曲推出後，主流大廠開始注意到這個新的聲音，97年被舞曲制作人Jellybean Benitez(麥當娜出道時的制作拍檔)的Hola廠牌網羅，後因廠牌經營不善導致專輯未能正式作發行，99年轉而加入一支德州樂團擔任主唱與創作，更一起做巡回演唱，一唱就是三年半。
而其中像是Billboard拉丁音樂獎典禮場合以及電視節目的演唱更增加了他的曝光率，2002年的冬季，Frankie J作好單飛的准備進錄音室完成專輯《What`s A Man To Do?》。

在以自身戀情經驗為題創作出深切刺痛男人心的分手戀歌"Don`t Wanna Try"觸動全美電台後，另一首挑戰男人愛情感受的標題曲"What`s A Man To Do?"，副歌段落加進搖滾吉他指法，歌中的男主角向心愛的女孩坦白自己越軌的心聲，體現戀愛世界裡的真誠與誘惑。

睽違兩年，Frankie J終於推出第二張更為精采動聽的新作『The One』，雖然仍以情愛議題搭配抒情的曲調作為專輯主軸，但是加入更多R&B/Hip-Hop甚至Rap的節奏，樂曲律動感更高。
首支單曲Obsession(No Es Amor)於流行單曲榜急速爬升至前10大，在西班牙文的交錯演唱，搭配好友Baby Bash的饒舌助陣，勢必成為Frankie J演唱事業高峰的代表佳作，此曲特別收錄英文與西班牙文兩種抒情版本；同名單曲” The One”，請來甜美三人女子團3LW合唱；展現Frankie J美聲詮釋的抒情佳品”How To Deal”；歡樂嘻哈派對的搭配曲”On The Floor”，邀來饒舌新秀Paul Wall助陣；帶著異國情調的”In The Moment”，強烈討喜的流暢節奏，漸層加入多部合音搭襯，呈現出剛柔並濟的質感。
